Cabot’s

We finally checked out Cabot’s, an old fashioned ice cream parlour established in 1969 in Newton. It was cool to step back in time and try to make sense of their monster menu of different ice creams, yogurts, and toppings. We both started out with some exotic combinations but, in the end, ended up ordering a typical hot fudge sundae…

We sat at the counter and watched all these high schoolers fill crazy orders of banana splits and some weird M&M sundae with melted marshmallows. Pretty sure we each gained a cavity by watching that.

Anyway, its definitely worth a trip to soothe that sweet tooth or to at least see the wall mirror shaped like an ice cream cone. The croc needs one!
